Fexofenadine HCl | 60 mg |
Indicated in adults and children 12 years and older for the relief of symptoms associated with seasonal allergic rhinitis, chronic idiopathic urticaria.
INSTRUCTION FOR USE
Administration
FEXOBOSTON 60 is to be taken orally with water and before meals. Do not drink with fruit juice.
Dosage
Adults and children 12 years and older:
+ Seasonal allergic rhinitis: 120 mg x 1 time/day.
+ Chronic idiopathic urticaria: 180 mg x 1 time/day.
Children under 12 years of age: The efficacy and safety have not been studied in this patient population.
Patients with hepatic impairment: No dose adjustment is required.
Patients with renal impairment: Elderly, adults and children over 12 years of age with renal impairment or requiring hemodialysis: 60 mg x 1 time/day.
Contraindications
Patients with hypersensitivity to fexofenadine or any of the excipients.
Children under 12 years old.
WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS
Due to its lactose content, it should not be used in patients with rare hereditary problems of galactose intolerance, the Lapp lactase deficiency or glucose-galactose malabsorption
-Fexofenadine should be used with caution in patients with known cardiovascular risk or pre-existing prolongation of the QT interval. Do not take any other H1 antihistamines while taking them.
-Be careful and adjust the appropriate dose when used for people with impaired renal function, the elderly (over 65 years old).
-The drug should be discontinued at least 24-48 hours before conducting intradermal antigen tests.
- The efficacy and safety have not been studied in children under 12 years of age.
-Use of fexofenadine aggravates psoriasis.
SHELF-LIFE:
36 months from the manufacturing date. Do not use it after the expiry date.
