DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION
Administration:
Ambroxol Boston should be taken orally with liquid after a meal.
Dosage:
- Adults and children over 10 years: 30 mg once, 3 times a day. Then twice a day if used for long-term treatment.
- Children 5-10 years: 15 mg once, 3 times a day. Then twice a day if used for long-term treatment.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Hypersensitivity to ambroxol or to any of the excipients.
Peptic ulcer disease progression.
Bromhexine allergy in anamnesis.
Patients with lactose intolerance.
WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS
Ambroxol should be used with caution in patients with peptic ulcer diseases in anamnesis and hemoptysis, as ambroxol may dissolve fibrin clots and cause re-bleeding.
SHELF-LIFE: 36 months from the manufacturing date.
