BOSTON PHARMA WELCOMES INTERNSHIP STUDENTS FROM TAKASAKI UHW SCHOOL OF PHARMACY, JAPAN

On the morning of March 5, 2024, Boston Pharma welcomed a group of internship students from the Takasaki UHW School of Pharmacy to visit and engage in practical learning activities at Boston Pharma's EU-GMP and WHO-GMP standard facilities.

Boston Pharma was honored to receive Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Duc Hanh, Professor Shuzo Machida, and Ms. Akemi Numazawa (representative of the Student Affairs Office), along with 13 outstanding students from Takasaki UHW, Japan.

During their visit to Boston Pharma, the students were introduced to the company’s history, development, state-of-the-art equipment, modern production lines, notable product portfolio, and the remarkable achievements Boston Pharma has built over the past 17 years. These insights were shared by Mr. Le Ngoc Trinh – Deputy General Director of Manufacturing and Investment, and Mr. Phan Trong Dat – RD Director.

Following the introductory session, the students toured the specialized departments at the EU-GMP plant to gain a deeper understanding of the operations and application of modern equipment at Boston Pharma.

The tour of the factory was guided by Mr. Le Ngoc Trinh.

This program not only provided international students with the opportunity to experience a real-world working environment but also expanded their knowledge of production processes and quality management in the pharmaceutical industry in Vietnam, particularly at Boston Pharma.

In recent years, alongside business activities, Boston Pharma has also focused on training and developing young, talented human resources by collaborating with research institutes and universities such as: Ho Chi Minh City Drug Testing Institute, Faculty of Medicine – Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City, Faculty of Pharmacy – University of Medicine and Pharmacy at Ho Chi Minh City, Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine, Ton Duc Thang University, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH), and more.

Boston Pharma is proud to be a valuable internship destination for pharmacy students nationwide and internationally. It is hoped that these experiences will help students develop the necessary knowledge and skills for their careers in the pharmaceutical field.
