Calcium Boston 500mg

POSOLOGY AND METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION

Method of administration: 

CALCIUMBOSTON 500 is taken orally. The tablets must be dissolved in a glass of water.

Posology

Adults and children over 10 years: 2 tablets everyday

Children about 6 – 10 years: 1 tablet everyday

CONTRAINDICATIONS

Hypersensitivity to the active substances or to any of the excipients 

Hypercalcaemia and/or hypercalciuria

Nephrocalcinosis, kidney stones, tissue calcification, severe renal failure

WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS

People who are likely to have urinary calculi should drink plenty of water.

For patients with mild hypercalciuria (exceeding 300 mg/24 hours or 7.5 mmol/24 hours), or with a history of urinary calculi, monitoring of calcium excretion in the urine is required. If necessary, the calcium dose should be reduced or therapy should be discontinued. 

In patients with impaired renal function,  calcium salt should be taken under medical supervision.

While taking this drug, avoid taking vitamin D and its derivatives in high doses.

Caution should be taken when using this drug in patients with edema, and cardiovascular disease because there is about 318 mg of sodium in each tablet.

Each tablet contains about 318 mg of sodium, it is necessary to pay attention to the daily diet, especially for patients with a salt diet.

Each CALCIUMBOSTON 500 tablet contains aspartame, a source of phenylalanine that can be harmful to people with phenylketonuria

SHELF-LIFE

36 months from the manufacturing date. Do not use after the expiry date.
