Method of administration
RESERVED FOR THE ADULT.
For vaginal use
Moisten the tablet by immersing it in water for 2 to 3 seconds before insertion Patient should remain lying down for about 15 minutes.
Treat the partner at the same time, whether or not he presents clinical signs
Note:
The treatment will be accompanied by hygiene advice (wearing cotton underwear, avoiding vaginal douches, wearing an internal buyer during treatment, etc) and as far as possible, the elimination of contributing factors.
Do not interrupt treatment during menstruation
Posology:
One vaginal tablet is taken at a time, used 1 to 2 times daily for 10 consecutive days in combination with an oral treatment if necessary
Treatment with metronidazole should not be prescribed for more than 10 days and should not be repeated more than 2 to 3 times per year
Contraindications
This drug is contraindicated in case of hypersensitivity to any of the constituents
In combination with disulfiram or spermicidal products

Treatment with metronidazole should not be prescribed for more than 10 days and should not be repeated more than 2 to 3 times per year.
Discontinue treatment in case of local intolerance or allergic reaction or if signs such as dizziness, confusion, or ataxia occur
Take into account the risk of worsening neurological status in patients with severe, chronic, or progressive central and peripheral neurological conditions. It is better to moderate the intake of alcoholic beverages during treatment
Check white blood cell counts in patients with a history of blood disorders or in patients treated with high doses and/or for long periods.
Metronidazole can immobilize Treponema pallidum resulting in a false-positive response to the Nelson test
Related to neomycin sulfate
The duration of treatment should be limited to reduce the risk of selective bacterial resistance or superinfection by these organisms
Related to nystatin
If a hypersensitivity reaction occurs, the drug should be discontinued immediately and appropriate measures taken.
Do not stop self-treatment even if you are menstruating or your results are delayed
