COMPOSITION

Each film-coated tablet contains:

Active ingredient:

Paracetamol 650 mg
Caffeine 65 mg

Excipients: Pregelatinized starch, croscarmellose sodium, povidone K30, magnesium stearate, silicon dioxide, hypromellose, polyethylene glycol.

Treatment of mild and moderate pain, reducing fever.

ADMINISTRATION AND DOSAGE

PARALMAX POWER is administered orally with a full glass of water.

It can be used together or not with meals. It should takes from 4 to 6 hours between the two doses.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

Hypersensitivity to paracetamol or to the excipients.

Patients with G6PD enzyme deficiency.

WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS

Not recommend for children under 12 years old.

Patients should be advised that paracetamol may cause severe skin reactions. If a skin reaction such as skin reddening, blisters, or rash occur, they should stop use and seek medical assistance right away.

Thrombocytopenia, leukopenia, reducing whole blood were occurred when use the p-aminophenol derivatives, especially use the prolongation of large dose.  Decreasing neutrophil and hemorrhage have been reported after using paracetamol. Agranulocytosis was happened.

Caution for patients with anemia, angina or myocardial injury.

Drink alcohol too much and using paracetamol for long time may increase the risk of liver toxicity, should avoid using alcohol.

Care is advised in the administration of paracetamol to patients with severe renal or severe hepatic impairment.

Do not take with any other products containing paracetamol.

Do not use paracetamol for self-treatment of pain in adults over 10 days without the physician’s guides, because the prolonged pain may be a sign of other medical condition that required doctor’s diagnose and treatment.

Do not take paracetamol for fever above 39.5°C, fever lasting more than 3 days or recurrent fever, unless the physician’s guides because these fever are signs of serious illness and use of antipyretics may hide the situation of patient.

Doctor should warn the patients about the signs of serious skin side-effects such as Steven-Johnson syndrome (SJS), toxic epidermal necrolysis (TEN) or Lyell syndrome, acute generalized exanthematous pustulosis (AGEP).

PREGNANCY AND LACTATION

Pregnancy

Epidemiological studies in human pregnancy have shown no adverse effects due to paracetamol when used in the recommended dosage. However, caffeine may increase risk of lower birth weight and spontaneous abortion associated with caffeine consumption. Therefore this product is not recommended for use during pregnancy.

Lactation

Caffeine in breast milk may potentially have a stimulating effect on breast fed infants. Therefore this product should not be used if you are breast feeding.

EFFECTS ON ABILITY TO DRIVE AND USE MACHINES

This product does not affect to drive and use machines ability of patient when using at recommended doses.

STORAGE

In a dry place, below 30°C, protect from light.

SHELF-LIFE

36 months from the manufacturing date. Do not use after the expiry date.
